Mine is a 2010 model and I have mostly used it off-road. On the open road I usually get 40km/litre. Would have liked a 6th gear because it enters the redline at about 90km/h. I've run mine mostly at 60-70km/h for good fuel consumption. An interesting and fun motorcycle to ride. Stifly sprung rear but set the shocks to a softer setting and it has amazingly good handling plus a comfortable ride. Have punnished this bike in harsh conditions for eg. through water deeper than engine level without trouble. Had to replace 2 small terminals that corroded. On average it gives me 25 to 35km/litre unleaded fuel.
