I have owned a California EV for 2 years now & I am really enjoying it. I have rode a Ducati 900 for over 20 years & now that I have a family I wanted a bike that I could use for everyday transport that was reliable, comfortable & that I could take my children on & that they would feel safe & comfortable also. The EV does exactly what I wanted, its a great cruiser & being shaft drive, electric start & coupled brakes, its extremely easy to live with. I can get 150 miles from a tank of Unleaded before the fuel light comes on & then I have also got about 50 miles left in reserve if I really need it. I have so far done 8000 miles in 2 years in various weathers, I have never polished the bike, only cleaned with soapy water & then chamois leathered it off. It still looks very good & the chrome is still excellent apart from the finned exhaust clamps which have gone a little rusty, but this is normal for most Guzzi's. The Bike has never let me down & I will not be selling it soon, It has got many more thousands of miles to do for me before I even consider selli it. So there you have it, If your looking for an everyday bike thats reliable, is no hassle, & will get you anywhere you want to go comfortably, then you would do a lot worse than buy a Guzzi California EV. Lets face it even Billy Joel has a Guzzi California, so they must be good !
